Geri  Grubbs, Ph.D., LCSW, has been practicing depth psychology since 1987.  She is a psychotherapist, Jungian analyst and sandplay therapist.  With a doctorate in marriage, family and child therapy, and Washington and Oregon licenses in clinical social work, she works primarily with individual adults.  Geri is a 1998 graduate of the C. G. Jung Institute, Zurich, Switzerland, and is a senior analyst on the board of the C. G. Jung Institute of Seattle.

Her training and experience includes child and adult sexual abuse treatment, crisis intervention, and therapy for a variety of emotional problems, including depression, bereavement, post-traumatic stress, life transitions and mid-life crises, and spiritual emergence/emergency. 

Geri maintains a private psychotherapy practice in Gaston, Oregon, and sees clients via telehealth from longer distances in Oregon and Washington, or as requested.

 In addition to her training as a Jungian analyst, Geri has studied with Dora Kalff, founder of sandplay therapy.  She is a certified member of the International Society for Sandplay Therapists (ISST) and Sandplay Therapists of America (STA), and has published “The Sandplay Categorical Checklist for Sandplay Analysis,” a research and training manual for sandplay and art therapists.  

Spirituality is an important aspect of Geri’s work, both personally and professionally.  She is a devotee of Paramhansa Yogananda, and is certified as a meditation teacher.
